The pump must be stored in a dry place before it returns to the workplace again. Better at room temperature (200C). Before the pump is withdrawn from the workplace, it should be removed from the vacuum system, washed with dry nitrogen and replaced with oil. The inlet and outlet of the pump must be sealed with the shipping seals at the time of delivery. The gas town must be closed. If the pump is idle for a long time, it should be sealed with plastic bags and desiccant.
If the pump has been idle for more than a year, it must be maintained in a standard way and oil must be changed before the pump is put into operation again. We recommend that you contact the LEYBOLD manufacturer for maintenance services.
Standard pumps are not suitable for installation in explosive dangerous areas. Please contact us when you intend to apply this method. Before installing the pump, it must be reliably disconnected from the power supply in order to prevent accidental start-up of the pump. Pumps can only be installed by qualified and well trained personnel. All safety regulations should be observed.
Installation of ZYD oil filter Lyboa pump for reuse:
In order to ensure safe start-up, it is necessary to proceed step by step according to the following instructions.
The start-up can only be carried out by trained full-time personnel.
SOGEVAC can be installed on any flat, horizontal plane. Under the four legs, there are metric threaded holes for fixing pumps.
If the pump is inclined, the oil level can not be correctly read out. The pump is in danger of running dry.
According to the different use of oil, the ambient temperature of the pump should be between 12 (55) and 40 (104). By improving the pump or replacing different types of oil, the pump can operate at lower ambient temperature. Please consult us about these questions.
In order to ensure a good cooling of the pump, there should be enough space in the intake and exhaust outlets for maintenance and repair. Make sure the motor air intake is clean and clean.
1. Connect to the system
Standard pumps are not suitable for installation in explosive dangerous areas. When you plan to do so, please consult us. Before installing the pump, it must be reliably cut off from the power supply to prevent unintentional starting of the pump. The pump can only be installed by qualified and trained professionals.

2. Inlet side
The intake flange of the pump is connected by internal threads. The pump can be connected to the vacuum system with suitable connectors.
The cross section of the intake pipe should be at least the same as that of the intake port. If the intake pipe diameter is too small, the pumping speed will be reduced.
We recommend using LOCTITE or TEFLON tape for threaded joints to ensure vacuum sealing. (especially when dangerous gases)
3. Installation Warning of ZYD Oil Filter Lyboa Pump
The pump should be connected to the intake pipe without any stress. Hose or pipe fittings are used in intake and exhaust pipes for easy removal during pump maintenance.
- The maximum import pressure shall not exceed atmospheric pressure (about 1013 mbar). When there is excessive pressure in the import, the pump shall not be started.
- The type of material used in the installation of pipes should take into account the type of gas pumped. The same is true for seals.
If the process gas contains dust, dust filters must be installed in addition to random dust filters. We recommend that dust filters be installed horizontally with tees (3/13) or elbows (3/14). This ensures that no dust particles fall into the intake when the filter is removed. Import filters with different filter elements. Metal filter can prevent solid particles such as paper and plastics from entering the pump; paper filter can remove small particles such as dust and powder less than 1 micron; activated carbon filter can absorb chemical vapor such as acid and solvent. If the activated carbon filter is stored in a humid place, it should be dried at 212 for 2 hours before use.
When extracting steam, we recommend installing condensers at the inlet and outlet sides.
When pumping dangerous gas, the intake pipe must be tight.
Solid particles or liquids are never allowed to enter the pump.
