According to the design, SOGEVAC can be started at temperatures greater than 0 () according to the PNEUROP standard, depending on the type of oil used.
In order to avoid motor overload, the number of starting pumps should not exceed 6 times in an hour.
If frequent start-up is required, the pump should be continuously operated and connected to the vacuum vessel with a valve. In this case, the valve is used instead of starting/stopping the pump. When the valve is closed, the pump consumes little energy.
Notes before starting oil filter pump:
- Before starting the pump, ensure that the attachment of the connection meets your application technical requirements, so as to ensure safe and reliable operation.
- Don't expose any part of your body in a vacuum. Because of the danger of injury. When the inlet is open, the pump shall not be started. When the pump is running, the vacuum joint, oil filling and oil discharge holes shall not be opened.
- Safety regulations for special applications under different circumstances must be complied with. Especially in installation, operation and maintenance, waste disposal and transportation.

If SOGEVAC is equipped with an air ballast valve and has been opened, and the pump has reached its working temperature, it can extract air and steam.

Vacuum non-condensable gas
If the process circuit mainly contains permanent gas and the temperature compression does not exceed the saturated vapor pressure during operation, SOGEVAC can be operated in an air-free ballast.
If you do not know the composition of the air to be pumped and can not eliminate the possibility of gas condensation, you should operate the pump in accordance with Section 2.5.2 when the ballast valve is opened.

Gas ballast valve is the most closely related component to application. It determines the allowable partial pressure of water vapor.

As a model or accessories (product number 951-30), the "large flow" gas town (10% of the pump flow rate).
This component is suitable for applications where there are more condensable gases entering the pump. It allows the water vapor tolerance to be higher than 50 mbar (the installation instructions are attached to this component).
